HabiTECH12 now has a final design that has been approved by the Habitat board!!! Everyone here is excited about the design of this home and so is the family. Shown below are the drawing and pictures of the model

Now it’s time to begin the detail work and the construction documents. Wish us luck!!!

In the last week we as a class have made many changes to our designs. We have been through an intense selection process and have brought our first fourteen designs down from eight to four and now down to two. In doing this we have worked together to create in my opinion the best design that the family desires. Here in the next upcoming days we will have the final designs selected and ready to present to the family. Once we have the final designs I will post pictures of the models and possibly the drawings for all of you who are curious. As I stated earlier we have been working very hard and we also now have our web site up and running for everyone to see. To all of my followers there is a new and exciting chapter unfolding this quarter at Louisiana Tech. My architecture class this winter is partnering up with Habitat for Humanity and we are building a home for a family here in Ruston. There will be an entry every week to keep yall posted. Wehave 171 days to design and construct this home wish us luck.
