Relating to the house, this week has been pretty eventful. We as a class sent off the construction documents
to get approved for our building permits so that construction can begin.
That was somewhat of a success we got the foundation permit which is good but
will have to resend the remaining documents to get looked over again.
Foundation work begins
Today (Saturday the
21st) was the start of the dirt work. We received 8 loads of dirt and watched as a bulldozer worked its magic.
After 4 hours of moving and spreading the loads of dirt around we now have flat and stable
place to begin the form work for the concrete. This dream of building a house is now becoming
a reality.
